We are looking for an experienced AS/400 Developer to join our team in developing and supporting core banking applications using RPG IV, CL, and SQL. You will translate business requirements into robust technical solutions, contribute to system design, testing, and ensure compliance with CMMI Level 3 standards.

Job Description:

• Translate business requirements into functional specifications, including system design elements and detailed test plans.
• Design, develop, code, and test technical solutions that meet business needs and align with specifications.
• Create and execute test scenarios and test scripts.
• Manage change requests to ensure project timelines and deadlines are met.
• Provide weekly progress updates, highlighting milestones, current status, resource needs, risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Support project timeline adherence and milestone delivery.
• Communicate effectively and foster team collaboration.
• Identify opportunities to improve internal processes and propose practical solutions.
• Ensure appropriate documentation is available for
  - users and IT support teams.
• Provide support for the Olympic application and
  - house developments (RPG/CL/SQL).
• Ensure adherence to standards and procedures to maintain CMMI Level 3 compliance.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience working on the AS/400 platform.
• At least 4 years of proven experience in software analysis, specification writing, and development.
• Strong knowledge of CL and RPG IV programming.
• Proficiency in SQL.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (French is a plus).
