The position

We are recruiting for a Software Development Team Lead to work as part of the R&D team based in India or Porto (Portugal). This team is part of a bigger global R&D team.

You will be responsible for leading a global team of software developers across different locations. The team is responsible for extending mature applications for data acquisition and related aspects.

You will be part of a global R&D team, leading the development of data acquisition software products such as Perception, BKConnect, and Tescia.

HBK products contribute to various applications across sectors such as Automotive, Electric Drives & Generators, Aerospace, Energy / High-Voltage, Material Testing, and Service.

This role involves leading a team through situational leadership, with the opportunity to act as a Scrum Master in Agile Release Trains. You will collaborate closely with Product Owners and Architects to ensure successful project execution.

You will be responsible for:

• Leading a team of 4 to 8 developers across different locations
• Fostering growth and development of team members through coaching, mentorship, and training. Identifying strengths and areas for improvement, providing opportunities for professional development.
• Driving and maintaining the functional domain of Software Development
• Contributing to a comprehensive technology roadmap

Professional qualifications

• Over 5 years’ experience in software development, preferably on the Windows platform
• Proven experience in leading small teams, fostering collaboration, and driving project success
• Bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Communication, Instrumentation, Computer Science, or IT
• Extensive experience in
  - oriented programming with C++ and C#, proficiency in web technologies such as React, Java
  Script, or Graph
  QL
• Familiarity with agile methodologies, Scrum Master certification is a plus
• Knowledge of Jira and Confluence is advantageous
• Experience in Test and Measurement domain is a plus
• Product development experience, instrumentation preferred
