Tripadvisor is looking for a
- level developer / Software Engineer II to join our
- moving Restaurants team. In this role, you will help us build, upgrade, and sustain our
- facing products, visited by hundreds of millions of travelers each month. These products provide travelers and diners with the information they need for the best guidance on their considered meals and dream vacations.

What You'll Do:

1. Code! Most of our engineers release code to production every few days and we have a daily release cycle.
2. Design and implement the technical solutions for projects.
3. Work closely with our product and design teams to define feature specifications.
4. Be responsible for the quality of code you ship.
5. Actively provide feedback on best practices and design patterns to your peers in the form of code reviews.
6. Develop, deploy and maintain full stack implementations of owner and
   - facing features.
7. Be responsible for all aspects of software engineering, from design to implementation, QA, operations and maintenance.
8. Work alongside other engineering groups located around the world.

Skills and Experience:

1. Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent.
2. 3-4+ years of large scale, full life cycle development experience.
3. Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, and OO design.
4. Experience building microservices,
   - driven and
   - oriented architectures.
5. Willingness and ability to take on new technologies.
6. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
7. Sense of ownership, urgency and pride in your work.
