Software Engineer (. Net and C++)

Location: Europe(Office/Hybrid/Remote)

Position Summary:

We have an open position for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join the Facilities Engineering group at Bentley Systems. The group is responsible for developing software and services for Plant, Building, and Structural engineering domains. As a Software Engineer II, you will work in small, focused teams to deliver
- quality software that our users love. You will contribute to transforming our products to leverage cloud services and solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, maintain, and improve products, focusing on Digital Twin Enablement.
• Own your functionality and design implementations.
• Research and evaluate new technologies as needed.
• Support and enhance existing solutions.
• Create unit, integration, and system tests to ensure quality.
• Document solutions clearly.
• Participate in agile,
  - estimate sprints.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary,
  - organizing team, contributing to technical designs and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in software design and development.
• Proficiency with. NET/. NET Core and/or C++.
• Strong understanding of OOP, SOLID principles, and architectural patterns.
• Experience with testing frameworks like n
  Unit, x
  Unit, gtest, gmock, or similar.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Visual Studio, git, and Azure Pipelines.
• Motivated to work in diverse teams to deliver
  - quality software.

Preferred Skills:

• BSc in Computer Science.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Experience with Type
  Script, React, or Node. js is a plus.
• Experience in the Plant industry is advantageous.
