Responsibilities
The Software Engineer is responsible for creating, enhancing, and maintaining software applications and systems. This role collaborates with cross‑functional teams to comprehend requirements, design solutions, and implement code that conforms to best practices and industry standards. The role may require handling multiple concurrent projects, proactively reviewing progress, and providing recommendations for process improvement.
Key duties include:
- Collaborate with product management and tech leads to gather and analyze software requirements and design solutions that address functional and non‑functional needs.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using appropriate programming languages and frameworks, following established coding standards.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans (unit, integration, end‑to‑end) to validate software functionality, reliability, and performance.
- Identify and resolve technical issues and bugs throughout the development lifecycle, employing debugging tools and techniques.
- Manage source code repositories using version control systems (Git) and follow JIRA workflows for issue tracking and task estimation.
- Proactively review progress, evaluate results against plans and specifications, and recommend adjustments to ensure project success.
- Provide recommendations for process improvement, contribute to team documentation, and maintain alignment with project objectives and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in software development or related fields.
- Knowledge of one or more programming languages commonly used in software development, such as Java, with experience in the Spring Boot framework. Understanding of software engineering principles, data structures, algorithms, object‑oriented design concepts, clean code, and SOLID principles.
- Familiarity with software development tools and technologies, including IDEs, version control systems (Git), and issue tracking systems (JIRA).
- Understanding of software practices such as Agile development methodologies, code reviews, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Skills in unit test and/or Test‑Driven Development.
- Experience with multicloud Kubernetes environments.
- Experience in leveraging Apache Kafka for building scalable, distributed systems and handling large volumes of data in real time.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power
Point, Outlook). - Ability to document requirements and specifications.
- Problem‑solving skills.

- Teamwork and collaboration, especially in remote working contexts.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
