Software Engineer

Profile Overview

As a Software Engineer at Prerender, you’ll be a core contributor to our team’s success. You bring strong technical skills, practice XP habits, and reliably deliver
- quality software increments. While not yet at senior level, you’ll take ownership of problems, contribute across the stack, and steadily broaden your impact. This is a unique opportunity to work in a collaborative,

Your responsibilities & typical day

• Pairing with another engineer to build a feature or tackle a bug.
• Reviewing a teammate’s code and suggesting improvements.
• Working with product to refine acceptance criteria and edge cases.
• Improving tooling, tests, or documentation that make the whole team faster.
• Debugging an issue in production and deploying the fix.

What You bring to the table

• 3–6 years of professional experience building and shipping software
• Strong programming fundamentals and proficiency in at least one of our core languages: Type
  Script/Node. js or Golang
• Hands‑on experience with cloud‑native environments (AWS a plus)
• Familiarity with distributed systems concepts and performance tuning
• Commitment to testing, clean design, and continuous delivery
• Proactive, curious, and eager to continuously improve
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
