Software Engineer
Job Description
We are looking for a skilled software engineer. You will be working on specifying, designing, implementing, and testing software. Additionally, you will support our program planning and agile activities within the team.
How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn
- Design, develop, test, and deliver
- quality software to improve availability, scalability, latency, and resiliency. - Engage in engineering practices such as pair programming and software refactoring, leveraging artificial intelligence where applicable.
- Advocate for software craftsmanship, embracing agile & lean values, and maintaining a
- first mindset. - Follow best engineering practices, focusing on continuous improvement and delivery.
- Support and implement architectural and strategic decisions for
- tier software solutions. - Collaborate with domain experts, solution architects, and delivery teams.
- This role offers growth opportunities with potential for career development and influence on software design in the Telco industry.
Key Skills And Experience
- University degree in technology, engineering, or related field, or current student (MSc or BSc).
- Interest or knowledge in programming languages and frameworks (e. g. , Java17+, Python, Java
Script, HTML5, CSS, Type
Script, React), and container management tools like Kubernetes. - Understanding of REST services, API design, JSON, Swagger.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills; ability to work in
- functional, international teams. - Fluent in spoken and written English.
Additional Desirable Skills
- Database knowledge (SQL, Oracle, Maria
DB). - Experience with Continuous Integration tools (Jenkins, Git, Gerrit, Git
Lab). - Knowledge of test automation (JUnit, Jest, Selenium, Robot Framework, Cucumber) and
- driven development. - Understanding of dependency management tools (Webpack, Maven, Gradle, npm).
