Software Engineer
Job Description
We are looking for a skilled software engineer. You will be responsible for specifying, designing, implementing, and testing software. Additionally, you will support our program planning and agile activities within the team.
How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn
- Design, develop, test, and deliver
- quality software to improve availability, scalability, latency, and resiliency. - Engage in engineering practices such as pair programming, software refactoring, and leveraging artificial intelligence.
- Advocate for software craftsmanship, uphold agile & lean values, and prioritize quality.
- Embrace best engineering practices with a focus on continuous improvement and delivery.
- Support and implement architectural and strategic decisions for
- tier software. - Collaborate with domain experts, solution architects, and delivery teams.
- This role offers opportunities for growth, career development, and influence in software design within the Telco space.
Key Skills And Experience
- University degree in technology, engineering, or related field, or current student (MSc or BSc).
- Interest or knowledge in programming languages and frameworks such as Java17+, Python, Java
Script, HTML5, CSS, Type
Script, React, and container management tools like Kubernetes. - Understanding of REST services, API design, JSON, Swagger.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in
- functional and international teams. - Fluent in spoken and written English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of databases like SQL/HQL, Oracle, or Maria
DB. - Experience with Continuous Integration tools such as Jenkins, Git, Gerrit, Git
Lab. - Familiarity with test automation tools like Junit, Jest, Selenium, Robot Framework, Cucumber, and TDD practices.
- Understanding of dependency management tools such as Webpack, Maven, Gradle, npm.
