Software Engineer – C# /. NET

Hybrid role -3 days a week in the office

We are working with a financial client in Lisbon, Portugal who are seeking a Software Engineer with C# /. NET skills. The candidate must have an interest in learning financial markets.

Duties

• Develop
  - quality, scalable solutions under tight deadlines to meet our users’ needs
• Tackle challenging production issues when they arise, providing expert 3rd level support to resolve critical problems
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders and IT teams to gather requirements and ensure alignment with business goals
• Contribute to software architecture and design decisions, ensuring our solutions are robust and scalable
• Enhance and maintain a robust automated test suite, ensuring high test coverage
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives, embracing best practices and innovative solutions

Skills required

• Technical Excellence: Proficiency in building scalable applications with ASP. NET/C#
• Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, and API development
• Problem-Solving Prowess: Ability to tackle complex challenges with innovative solutions
• Curiosity and Eagerness to Learn: Passion for learning and adapting to new technologies. Must be willing to learn about the capital market industry and structured products
• Collaboration: Experience working in agile teams and a strong desire to collaborate with peers and business stakeholders
• Communication Skills: Fluency in English
