Skill-Up Technologies is looking for a
- time Software Engineering Manager to join our Technology team. We are actively seeking a
- oriented,
- driven Project Manager with strong experience leading agile software development projects and launching enterprise software products. In this
- visibility position, you will lead project teams through an agile software development lifecycle and will be accountable for

- budget,
- quality software project deliveries.

The Software Engineering Manager at Skill-Up Technologies is responsible for leading and representing a team of Software Developers and Technical Architects focused on creating, maintaining, securing, and improving the Laa
S-based technology platform.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

1. Project Planning and Management

• Apply modern project management techniques to manage projects, achieving objectives of scope, quality, time, and cost. Organize and lead project status and working meetings.
• Prepare progress reports and present to the executive steering committee regularly.
• Proactively identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
• Manage project changes.
• Apply agile methodologies to project management.
• Manage stakeholder, partner, and vendor relationships.

• Hold project teams accountable for their responsibilities and deliverables.
• Ensure teams are aligned in communication, schedules, and issues.
• Develop project teams by promoting empowerment, engagement, and
  - quality deliverables.
• Create and maintain a strong team culture focused on growth, collaboration, and emotional intelligence.
• Manage hiring and career development processes to attract, grow, and retain top talent.
• Coach and mentor team members for professional growth.
• Partner with product managers/owners to plan and prioritize product delivery and support key customer deployments.
• Identify opportunities for growth and improvement across business teams.

• Champion continuous improvement and adoption of project management and agile best practices.
• Have a strong understanding of project management methodologies and experience delivering enterprise software products.
• Provide guidance on securing Skill
  Up Technologies’ environments, data, and intellectual property.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Operate with a growth mindset and a willingness to learn new technologies, programming languages, and systems.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Experience managing
  - house and remote development teams.
• Proven project management experience in the software or IT industry using best practices.
• Experience managing agile projects and transitioning teams to agile methodologies.
• Experience with Cloud technologies is preferred.
• Proficient in SQL, No
  SQL, and
  - memory databases such as My
  SQL, Mongo
  DB, Memcached.
• Minimum of 2+ years’ experience working with Python and Django.
• Strong understanding of industry standards for clean and maintainable code.
