Software Engineering Team Lead

The Requirements Portal delivers essential features on the Altium Develop/Agile platform for engineering teams to collaborate on their product requirements. It covers the entire lifecycle from importing customer requirements with smart importers, collaborating on them, connecting them to the electronics design, verifying them and creating relevant compliance documents.

• Manage duties: 30% team management, 30% project management, 30% technical development, and 10% other duties.

Qualifications

• A proactive, self‑motivated learner who sees engineering as a way of looking at the world.
• Bachelor’s Degree in software engineering or related field.
• Clear communicator who can think big and propose novel solutions.
• Takes the long view, anticipating problems early in development.
• Flexible and agile in the face of change.
• Owns commitments and sees them through to completion.
• Strong technical background and leadership experience.
• Preferred 7–8 years of technical experience with 2 years of management experience.
• Heavy backend experience and ability to lead a team of full‑stack developers.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Works across internal teams and supports stakeholders.
• Familiarity with Django or similar frameworks and strong knowledge of Python.
