In this role, you will work closely with the QA Team to assist with testing our flagship product and its reporting features. You will identify weak spots in the code base and design ways to break software and identify potential problems. You will perform
- on QA testing including data integrity for new features and regression testing, while collaborating with developers to resolve defects, risks, and issues.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and monitor QA testing, adjusting for scalability, functionality, and usability
• Test web applications, creative content, and special projects
• Create test cases aligned with the RTM Matrix and user stories to support development
• Test the application through manual and automated means
• Conduct regression, system, integration, and web services testing
• Verify that enhancements and fixes meet defined requirements
• Recommend revisions or improvements, including product customization, based on client feedback
• Identify user stories and translate them into test cases as required
• Identify and log defects using Team Foundation Server
• Provide usability and functionality feedback to developers
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Developers, and Release Manager to ensure QA standards are met
• Work with developers, designers, and engineers to build applications to spec and on time
• Provide technical guidance on defects to developers
• Ensure traceability of test cases to requirements
• Participate in sprint planning and daily standups with
  - functional teams

Communication

• Maintain strong, ongoing channels of communication with QA and Development teams
• Clearly communicate and synchronize efforts with the QA team

Qualifications, Experience and Skills

• Experience analyzing user stories and translating them into test cases
• Experience with Jira or Azure Dev
  Ops
• Experience building and executing manual test cases for client Web & GUI applications
• Experience testing RESTful web services and APIs
• Past QA testing experience, GUI-driven testing
• Experience working with data and APIs
• Ability to write test plans with traceability to acceptance criteria
• Ensure projects are delivered to production only after meeting QA standards in
  - production environments
• Strong analytical and autonomous
  - solving skills
• Self-starter,
  - motivated, able to work independently or in a team
• High attention to detail and accuracy
