Software Technical Designer for ecommerce Óbidos

Overview

Software Technical Designer for ecommerce — Axians Portugal. This role focuses on designing scalable, performant backend solutions for an ecommerce project and collaborating closely with feature teams, architects, and backoffice teams.

Responsibilities

• Clarify project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Create and maintain a project plan of digital backend impacts (in JIRA) with estimated timelines and dependencies highlighted.
• Collaborate with other teams to design performant and scalable solutions.
• Document technical specifications and decisions in Confluence.
• Create and manage technical user stories for developers in JIRA.
• Assist frontend and backend developers during the build phase with questions.
• Con conduct partial technical testing to validate implementations.
• Maintain

  - date technical documentation of the products.
• Analyze and help resolve support tickets assigned to the digital backend team.
• Facilitate agile rituals such as dailies and retrospectives.

What we’re looking for

• Computer science degree.
• Good ecommerce knowledge and skills with a proven track record (minimum of 5 years).
• Knowledge of Backend APIs development constraints and design patterns, especially within Microservice Architecture.
• Good skills in software technical design: sequence diagrams, flows modeling between frontend,
  - office, API design.
• Experience redacting technical specifications in Confluence and technical user stories for developers in JIRA, with good writing skills.
• Understanding of the technical constraints of a wide ecommerce omnichannel digital system (web performance, scalability, observability, dashboards and alerting, Web
  View management).
• Ability to communicate with other teams and formalize meeting outputs.
• Ability to manage project priorities and deadlines.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
