We are looking for a Test Engineer to join our Client's team on a remote working model , with occasional business trips to the Hague (Netherlands).

Eligibility:

Candidate must have resided in Portugal for at least the past 5 years.

Portuguese citizenship is mandatory.

Candidate must be prepared to obtain EU security clearance upon accepting the job offer (with Hexa coordination).

Key Responsibilities:

Test Case Management: Write, execute, and maintain test cases, both manual and automated.

Collaboration: Work closely with developers and subject matter experts to understand product use cases and features; attend team meetings to provide updates and communicate impediments.

Knowledge Sharing: Share expertise within the team, organize trainings or demos, and document information in the knowledge database.

Work Independence and Organization: Operate independently, stay
- organized, and deliver
- driven results aligned with team targets.

Test Environment Setup: Create setups using Virtual Machines and standard servers (DNS, HTTP, Active Directory, Monitoring) on Linux-based OS.

Tool Usage and Integration: Use tools such as Git
Lab, Jira, Zephyr, Nexus; update task statuses in Jira, commit code to Git
Lab, and maintain test procedures/results in Zephyr.

Remote and On-site Work: Perform most tasks remotely with
- provided hardware; be available for occasional
- site work in the Netherlands.

Required Qualifications:

Testing Experience:

Recent
- on experience testing Web
GUI, REST API, and CLI interfaces for networking products.

Solid background in manual test case planning, writing, and execution.

Experience testing computer networking software and Tactical Data Link systems (e. g. , Link16, Link22, OTH-G).

Knowledge of interoperability testing between software systems.

Technical Troubleshooting: Strong ability to troubleshoot and debug issues on Windows Servers and Linux OS, with knowledge of:

IP Addressing, Routing

DNS, HTTP

Active Directory

Certificate Management

Programming and Scripting: Basic knowledge of Java, Linux bash, and Ansible.

Tool Proficiency: Experience with Jira, Zephyr, Git
Lab and familiarity with the Scrum methodology.

Language & Nationality: Full professional proficiency in English

Nice to Have:

Automation Testing: Experience writing

- end automation test cases using Robot Framework, Gauge, or Cucumber.

Certifications: Technical certifications (Microsoft, Red
Hat, Comp
TIA, CISCO) and/or testing certifications (ISTQB, TMAP, or equivalent).
