We’re looking for a Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join our growing product development team. This is a
- level position ideal for someone with hands‑on experience in software testing who is passionate about ensuring high product quality. You’ll play a critical role in identifying issues early, planning and executing test cases based on product documentation, and ensuring every release is stable and polished. Automation experience is a plus, but not required — we value structured, reliable manual testing processes as a core foundation of our QA cycle.
What will you be doing?
- Test Planning: Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to understand feature documentation and define effective test strategies and test cases.
- Manual Testing: Perform exploratory, functional, UI/UX, and regression testing of new and existing features.
- Regression Cycles: Participate in structured regression testing weeks — one full week per release (every 6 weeks).
- Bug Tracking: Identify, document, and prioritize issues using our issue tracking system (e. g. , Jira).
- QA Documentation: Maintain clear and structured test case repositories and contribute to improving QA processes and documentation.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with developers, designers, and PMs to advocate for quality throughout the development lifecycle.
What we expect from you?
- 2+ years of experience in a QA role, preferably in an Agile product development environment.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, test planning, and defect lifecycle.
- Comfortable participating in regular regression testing cycles and organizing time effectively around them.
- Familiarity with tools like Jira, Test
Rail, or similar QA/test case management systems. - Bonus: Experience with automation frameworks (e. g. , Cypress, Selenium) is appreciated, but not mandatory.
Nice to have
- Exposure to or hands‑on experience with test automation tools (e. g. , Cypress, Selenium, Playwright).
- Experience with API testing using tools like Postman or REST-assured. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating QA processes into them.
- Basic knowledge of SQL for validating data in backend systems.
- Experience in mobility, transportation, or other complex user‑facing domains. Strong communication skills in English and Portuguese.
- While not required, the following certifications are a plus: ISTQB Foundation Level (International Software Testing Qualifications Board), Certified Agile Tester (CAT), Certified Software Test Professional (CSTP), Postman API Tester Certification, Certified Selenium Tester Foundation.

We are currently looking for a Senior Quality Assurance Specialist to join our Quality Assurance Team. The role is based in Sintra reporting to our Head of Quality/Responsible Person in Switzerland. We are looking for a dynamic and motivated person, who can support our growth ambitions and add knowledge, competence, and team spirit.
Your key responsibilities:
- Maintain Quality procedures, work instructions and forms up to date for processes under his/her responsibilities.
- Responsible for monitoring and maintaining an effective CAPA process.
- Change Control Process - Initiate and manage changes control requests. Maintain, improve, and monitor the Change Control Process.
- Handle product complaints and deviations in a timely manner.
- Review internal PQRs for products distributed by Labatec Pharma.
- Compile and review all the documentation necessary for the release to the market (Switzerland and MENA) by the Swiss Responsible Person.
- Participate to customers, suppliers and subcontractors' qualification and verification process (Switzerland, MENA…).
- Write and maintain Quality Agreements with external partners (incl. contract manufacturers, service providers).
- Participate to Artwork review process improvement and check of artworks.
- Active involvement in projects, major changes and continuous improvement for Labatec Quality Management Systems as needed.
- Participates in the organization and preparation of Management Reviews. Develop and compile quality indicators related to quality systems (Key Performance Indicators).
- Participate in the preparation, execution and
- up of internal and external Quality Management System audits and inspections by authorities. - Participate in the validation of computerized systems as required.
We are looking for
- University degree in Pharmacy, Biology, Chemistry, Engineering, or similar.
- 5-7 years of experience in quality assurance in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Experience in working on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an
- depth evaluation of various factors. - Extensive knowledge of Gx

Assist Team Lead / Manager in Interview process for future hires
All KPI related tasks must be followed & adhered to avoid business impact
Work on multiple customer projects at the same time depending on the customer requirements

Your Mission:
