At the core of our capability, to offer our clients the best possible services, a strong IT department is a prerequisite. Our IT department is located in Rotterdam (Netherlands) and in Coimbra (Portugal). For our IT department in Portugal, Steinweg is looking for a Senior Software Tester.

Your Challenges:

As a software tester at Steinweg, you will be part of an agile development team that develops software at a high pace with state of the art technology. Out
Systems low coding platform and Tosca low code testing enable us to deliver new software fast and secure. And we are implementing SAP S4 Hana to replace legacy software.

We develop and deploy our software in two weekly sprints, you will test and automate the regression tests.

At Steinweg we do not test boring financial or bureaucratic systems. But we do test applications that support our international logistic processes at freight terminals all over the world. You will contribute to an efficient operation all over the world with state of the art software. You will become the linking pin between business and IT for quality and processes that support our business.

What you are like:

• You have a bachelor or master degree in IT technology or relevant studies;
  
  or similar by work experience;
  
  
• Your experience as a software tester will be valued;
  
  
• Fluent in English language (eliminatory factor);
  
  
• Experienced with test methodologies like T-map or ISTQB is valuable;
  
  
• Affinity with technology like Out
  Systems, API’s and Web services;
  
  
• You are eager to learn new technologies;
  
  
• Comfortable to act in an agile and changing environment;
  
  
• Pleasant and clear in your communications;
  
  
• You are stress resistant, flexible and result oriented.
