Asenium is looking for a Testing Engineer to join a project in the technology sector .

Location: Remote (Only candidates based in Portugal )

Start Date: Immediate

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement data quality checks using tools like Great Expectations , Soda Core , or DBT testing .
• Conduct data pipeline testing , including ETL validations and data observability practices.
• Develop custom data checks with Python scripting and validate data using SQL .
• Perform or support Playwright tests (Type
  Script) for frontend quality assurance.
• Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and data teams to verify analytics dashboards and BI reports (Power BI, Big
  Query).
• Work across both data pipelines and frontend interfaces to ensure
  -
  - end data accuracy and performance.

Required Skills & Experience

• 6+ years of experience in Data Quality / Testing / Data Engineering roles.
• Proven experience with at least one data quality tool : Great Expectations , Soda Core , or DBT testing .
• Strong
  - on skills with Python scripting and SQL .
• Experience in data pipeline testing , ETL validation , and analytics QA .
• Exposure to Playwright and Type
  Script is a plus – willingness to learn is essential.
• Familiarity with Big
  Query , Power BI , or similar analytics platforms.
• Good English level (minimum B2)
