About the job

What are we looking for?

Job Description:

• Design software solutions in the Data, Analytics, and AI domain (not focused on development)
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to gather and assess requirements
• Produce Solution Design Documents and present architecture proposals with significant business and architectural impact
• Work with development teams to ensure architecture best practices are followed
• Identify needs for new applications or microservices based on business and architectural demands
• Specify and design APIs as part of the solution design process
• Ensure the adoption and enforcement of defined security and architecture governance rules
• Maintain documentation in Confluence as the main deliverable

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and design technical and logical software architectures
• Support architectural governance processes and contribute to their evolution
• Promote the adoption of architectural standards in complex environments
• Align solutions with reference application architecture
• Address bottlenecks and ensure efficient, expedient solution design
• Support the design efforts within Data & AI strategic programs

Requirements:

• Up to 15 years of experience in architecture or relevant roles
• Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or similar
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to work in collaborative, global teams
• Excellent
  - solving and critical thinking skills
• Commitment to quality and delivery excellence
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA and Confluence (valued)
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Working knowledge of Portuguese and Spanish is valued
• Experience with
  - based architectures (MS, Cloud, etc. )
• Strong understanding of various architecture components and market trends (e. g. , microservices)
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements (e. g. , GDPR, utilities sector standards)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the utilities or retail sectors
• Familiarity with SAP and/or Salesforce platforms
• Certifications in architecture frameworks or cloud technologies
