What will be your role

You will be the lead architect responsible for shaping and maintaining the architectural vision of our platform built on Out
Systems Developer Cloud (ODC) and AWS. Collaborating closely with developers, data engineers, product managers, and stakeholders, you'll ensure our solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with business needs. Your duties include defining architectural principles, overseeing system integration, guiding data migration, and implementing best practices for microservices and analytics pipelines.

You will serve as a trusted technical partner to the business, clarifying complex topics related to growth, performance, and security. As part of a new, ambitious team, you'll play a crucial role in the
- term health and evolution of our software stack.

Your Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the technical architecture of systems, APIs, data pipelines, and microservices, focusing on scalability, performance, maintainability, and security.
• Design and maintain architectural frameworks supporting rapid product iteration while ensuring system integrity.
• Act as a bridge between engineering and business, aligning technology decisions with strategic goals.
• Establish and enforce best practices in software development, deployment, and system integration.
• Guide data model evolution and secure data migrations across environments.
• Support development teams with architectural reviews, mentorship, and guidance.
• Improve data and analytics pipelines for reliability and performance at scale.
• Document architectural decisions and promote technical clarity and operational excellence.
• Collaborate with the Head of Product on technical strategy, team processes, and standards.

What we’re looking for

• 7+ years of experience in IT, software engineering, and system architecture.
• Leadership experience in complex IT or software environments.
• Proven success designing scalable, secure systems with AWS and Out
  Systems.
• Strong knowledge of microservices, API design, IAM, and data architecture.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Pragmatic
  - solving skills with a
  - term vision.
• Passion for mentoring and supporting teams.
• Willingness to relocate to the Netherlands (relocation package provided).
• Fluent English communication skills.
