Sourcing Manager - Wind Industry (m/f/d)

Overview

Sourcing Manager - Wind Industry (m/f/d) — Nordex Group. This role focuses on strategic sourcing within the wind industry and requires strong supplier relationship and global procurement experience.

Your Tasks

• Build and develop strong and mutually beneficial partnerships with key suppliers.
• Coordinate all
  - related activities throughout the value chain.
• Develop global sourcing commodity strategy and ensure implementation in collaboration with key stakeholders.
• Support, interface and coordinate with regional local sourcing teams.
• Global management of the commodity in collaboration with local teams.
• Collaborate with the Service department to understand business needs and objectives.
• Drive price and capacity negotiation processes to ensure Nordex remains price competitive.
• Lead negotiations of Framework Agreements.
• Ensure purchasing procedures are followed in the region; report KPIs at supplier level.
• Participate in internal workstreams (cost-out programs, localization initiatives, etc. ).

Your Profile

• Business and/or Engineering degree.
• First professional experience in purchasing in the wind industry desirable; experience in sourcing O&M services is welcome.
• Willingness to work in an international environment and take on new challenges.
• Strategic thinking, strong negotiation skills, and cost/quality awareness.
• Responsible,
  - oriented, team player,
  - oriented, good communication skills, proactive, and able to work independently.
• High reliability and ability to work in a team.
• Good MS Office and SAP skills.
• Availability to travel.
• Business fluency in English; comfortable speaking in interviews and meetings with international colleagues.
