Sourcing Manager - Wind Industry (m/f/d)
Overview
Sourcing Manager - Wind Industry (m/f/d) — Nordex Group. This role focuses on strategic sourcing within the wind industry and requires strong supplier relationship and global procurement experience.
Your Tasks
- Build and develop strong and mutually beneficial partnerships with key suppliers.
- Coordinate all
- related activities throughout the value chain. - Develop global sourcing commodity strategy and ensure implementation in collaboration with key stakeholders.
- Support, interface and coordinate with regional local sourcing teams.
- Global management of the commodity in collaboration with local teams.
- Collaborate with the Service department to understand business needs and objectives.
- Drive price and capacity negotiation processes to ensure Nordex remains price competitive.
- Lead negotiations of Framework Agreements.
- Ensure purchasing procedures are followed in the region; report KPIs at supplier level.
- Participate in internal workstreams (cost-out programs, localization initiatives, etc. ).
Your Profile
- Business and/or Engineering degree.
- First professional experience in purchasing in the wind industry desirable; experience in sourcing O&M services is welcome.
- Willingness to work in an international environment and take on new challenges.
- Strategic thinking, strong negotiation skills, and cost/quality awareness.
- Responsible,
- oriented, team player,
- oriented, good communication skills, proactive, and able to work independently. - High reliability and ability to work in a team.
- Good MS Office and SAP skills.
- Availability to travel.
- Business fluency in English; comfortable speaking in interviews and meetings with international colleagues.
