Sovereign Cloud Senior Quality Specialist Oeiras

Overview

Sovereign Cloud Senior Quality Specialist at SAP. We are looking for a Senior Quality Specialist in the newly formed Sovereign Cloud Delivery Architecture Quality Assurance team within the Technology and Delivery unit of the Customer Services and Delivery board area. You will test and operate the internal SAP Sovereign Cloud environments used as reference by regional Operations teams.

Responsibilities

• Test and operate internal SAP Sovereign Cloud environments used as reference by regional Operations teams.
• Help deliver SAP Multi-Tenant applications to SAP Sovereign Cloud customers with focus on functional completeness, streamlined deployments, and smooth operation.
• Collaborate with technical product managers, engineers, security teams, SAP product teams, and Operations teams.
• Apply your functional expertise to applications’ environment setup, testing, and quality assurance (manual/automated).
• Participate in the release lifecycle, including scheduling, coordinating, and executing test cases for releases and patches in
  - production Cloud landscapes.
• Identify defects, track remediation, and define updates required to resolve issues in future deployments.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, engineering or a similar field
• Professional experience in Cloud Delivery related fields and technologies
• Strong background in software testing (manual and automated) for frontend and backend
  - based solutions (including mobile)
• Expertise in test planning, design, and execution; experience with Jira for requirement review and adherence to testing principles
• Defect management experience in logging and reporting bugs and configuration changes
• Ability to troubleshoot complex software issues using technical and product skills
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems
• Familiarity with security processes and tools (e. g. , Vault)
• Excellent methodological and analytical thinking; proven ability to work in
  - functional teams
• Fluency in written and spoken English

Nice to have

• ISTQB Foundations certification or understanding of Software Testing lifecycle
• Team or workstream lead experience to streamline QA effort
• Knowledge of Cloud infrastructure and design incl. hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Programming/scripting skills (Java, Java
  Script/Type
  Script, Python, C/C++, or other)
• Product knowledge of Multi-Tenant SAP solutions such as HCM, SAC, Fieldglass, Ariba, Hana Cloud, BDC or BTP

Work Experience

• 5+ years in Cloud Delivery related fields and technologies
• 2+ years QA experience, including manual and test automation
• 1+ year in cloud operations environment, solution support, and management or development
