Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Spanish-Speaking Customer Advisor, you will be the primary point of contact for Spanish-speaking passengers, providing expert support and assistance. Your main responsibility is to deliver exceptional customer service by handling inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive interaction for every traveler. This is an
on-site position
based in our modern Lisbon office.
Key responsibilities include:
- Customer Interaction:
Engage with passengers through various channels (e. g. , phone, email, chat – specific channels will be detailed during training) to provide support in Spanish. - Inquiry Resolution:
Address a wide range of customer inquiries, including flight bookings, changes, cancellations, baggage queries, special assistance requests, loyalty programs, and general travel information. - Problem Solving:
Efficiently troubleshoot issues and provide accurate, timely, and empathetic solutions to passenger concerns. - Service Excellence:
Uphold the highest standards of customer service, ensuring every interaction is professional, courteous, and reflects positively on the airline brand. - Information Provision:
Clearly communicate airline policies, procedures, and service offerings to customers. - Documentation:
Accurately log all customer interactions, inquiries, and resolutions in our CRM system. - Collaboration:
Work effectively with team members and supervisors to escalate complex issues when necessary, ensuring a smooth and comprehensive resolution process. - Continuous Learning:
Stay informed about airline products, services, routes, and any operational updates to provide the most current and relevant information to passengers.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for individuals who are not only fluent in the required languages but also possess a genuine passion for customer service and a proactive mindset.
Essential Requirements:
- Spanish Fluency:
Native or C1 level equivalent proficiency in Spanish
(both written and spoken) is essential for effective and empathetic communication with passengers. - English Proficiency:
A professional working proficiency in English (
B2 level or higher
) is required for internal communication, training, and navigating internal tools and documentation. - Customer Service Orientation:
A strong passion for helping people and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer experiences. - Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Spanish and English. - Problem-Solving:
Strong analytical skills and the ability to think critically to resolve customer issues efficiently. - Empathy & Patience:
High level of empathy, patience, and a positive demeanor to handle diverse customer situations. - Adaptability:
Ability to work effectively in a

The ability to work collaboratively within a diverse and multicultural team. - Local Candidate:
Must reside in or be willing to relocate to Lisbon at your own expense
, as this position does not include a relocation package. You must possess valid legal documents allowing you to live and work in the European Union/Portugal.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in customer service, call center, or the travel/airline industry is a plus, but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with CRM software or booking systems.
