What You Will Do
This lead role supports the Clinical Trial Management, Monitoring, and Engagement (CTMME) product team, focusing on Veeva Clin
Ops suite of applications (e. g. , Veeva CTMS). You will gather, refine, and document business requirements, including user stories, process maps, and test plans. Collaborating with developers, Product Managers, and stakeholders, you will ensure clear technical requirements, support data sourcing and integration, and develop validation test cases. The role emphasizes understanding how data supports business decisions within clinical operations, ensuring requirements are captured accurately and reflected in documentation and delivery.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with System Architects and Product Managers on business analysis activities.
- Support Veeva Clin
Ops applications as a technical SME. - Capture customer needs to define business processes and product features.
- Create business cases for digital innovation projects, including scope, timeline, and resources.
- Analyze impact of Veeva version upgrades and refine the Product backlog.
- Include and prioritize
- functional requirements. - Express features clearly in User Stories and requirements.
- Partner with Product Owners and teams to deliver solutions.
- Ensure software meets requirements, providing feedback to stakeholders.
- Coordinate with IT teams for system improvements.
- Develop and demonstrate products for stakeholders.
- Maintain documentation of configurations and changes.
What We Expect Of You
Basic Qualifications and Experience:
- Doctorate OR
- Master’s with 4-6 years OR
- Bachelor’s with 6-8 years OR
- Diploma with 10-12 years in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
Must-Have Skills:
- Strong
- solving skills and passion for technology in drug discovery. - Experience with SAFe and Agile methodologies.
- Experience with Veeva Clin
Ops applications. - Excellent communication skills, confident interfacing with senior leadership.
- Experience writing requirements for web applications.
- Experience with JIRA and agile project management.
Good-to-Have Skills:
- Expertise in scientific domains and related tech needs.
- Understanding of scientific software strategy and governance.
- Experience with Veeva Risk validation tools.
- Technical thought leadership and ability to communicate complex topics.
- Jira Align, Dev
Ops, CI/CD experience. - SAFe for Teams certification (preferred).
Soft Skills:
- Ability to work independently and mentor team members.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
- Effective in global, virtual teams.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Team-oriented with a focus on achieving goals.
