Specialist GBS Acct & Sales Ops - (Maternity Cover)
Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
Support the business to achieve sales and market strategy objectives. Ensure reliable, adequate, and competitive customer service for all assigned customers of the channel (adidas).
Responsibilities:
- Provide account operations support to all assigned customers in a specific market.
- Support communication with customers via all relevant channels (email, tickets, phone) and provide information related to orders and articles, as well as compile
- related analyses upon request from customers or Sales. - Collaborate closely with internal and external departments (e. g. , Sales, ASO Team, Finance, Order Fulfillment) on topics such as backlogs, cancellations, launches,
- pack promotions, returns, complaints, and customer data management. - Coordinate new customer setups, changes to customer master data, customer number closures, order blocks, and withdrawal from associations in cooperation with Finance, IT, and Customer Master Management.
- Set and/or authorize order and invoice value dates following applicable regulations.
- Manage order books, ensuring timely and complete deliveries, prioritizing orders per strategic guidelines, and correcting errors identified in electronic receipts.
- Work with the dedicated customer portfolio, performing calls and sharing information with sales.
- Coordinate special handling requests, process returns and complaints, track deliveries, and manage logistics requests.
- Process damage reports, notify insurance in case of losses, and record all processes in the CRM system for monitoring and KPI analysis.
- Support sales teams with customer service expertise and perform tasks related to special business conditions, trade agreements, and campaign deliveries.
- Collaborate with colleagues across Accounts & Sales Operations and support management with analysis and process improvements.
Key Relationships:
Customers, Sales Channel Management, Account Operations, Global Operations (Purchasing, Warehouses, Customer Fulfillment, Inbound/Outbound), Credit & Collections, IT, Planning, Finance, Marketing, external providers, and regulatory bodies.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong customer service focus and excellent communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, SAP/CRM, and Business Objects.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Understanding of costs and sales generation processes.
- Process-oriented with an understanding of complex correlations.
- Proactive, autonomous, and independent working style.
- High
- solving capability. - Ability to work effectively in a team under pressure to meet deadlines and manage conflicting priorities.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Mandatory education or vocational training; Bachelor's degree is a plus.
- At least 2 years of experience in customer support within customer service, sales, or logistics.
