Location: 100% Remote (On-site attendance required only for workshops)

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated MS SQL Database Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and optimization of our Microsoft SQL Server database environment. You will work closely with
- functional teams to ensure data integrity, performance, and availability across all systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, install, configure, and maintain MS SQL Server databases.

Monitor database performance and implement tuning improvements.

Ensure high availability and disaster recovery strategies are in place.

Develop and maintain database documentation, procedures, and standards.

Perform regular security audits and implement best practices for data protection.

Support development teams with database design, queries, and stored procedures.

Troubleshoot and resolve
- related issues in a timely manner.

Automate routine tasks using scripts and tools to improve efficiency.

Your Profile:

Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Proven experience with MS SQL Server administration and development.

Strong knowledge of T-SQL, indexing, performance tuning, and backup strategies.

Familiarity with SSIS, SSRS, and SQL Server Agent.

Experience with high availability solutions (e. g. , Always On, clustering).

Understanding of data security and compliance requirements.

Analytical mindset with strong
- solving skills.

Excellent communication skills in English; German is a plus.
