SQL Database Administrator Lisboa

Overview

We are looking for an experienced SQL Server Database Administrator (DBA) to join our client’s team. You will play a critical role in ensuring the high availability, performance, and reliability of their database environment.

This is a hybrid role, requiring presence at the Tagus
Park office.

Responsibilities

• Perform Performance Tuning and optimize query efficiency.
• Create and manage indexes for performance improvement.
• Install, configure, and upgrade SQL Server databases.
• Configure and manage SQL Server Replication.
• Implement and automate backup/restore processes with TSM.
• Develop monitoring applications and scripts.
• Work with SSIS and SSAS.
• Configure and maintain high availability environments (Cluster, Mirroring, Logshipping).
• Program and maintain T-SQL scripts.
• Integrate tools such as Maximo, ITM, TSM, ITSM.
• 5+ years of proven SQL Server DBA experience.
• Expertise in performance tuning and index creation.
• Strong knowledge of backups/restores automation (TSM).
• Hands-on experience with high availability and replication.
• Proficiency with SSIS and SSAS.
• Advanced T-SQL programming.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (Maximo, ITM, ITSM).
• Availability for
  - call duties and overtime.
