We are strengthening our team for a challenging project within the technology sector and are looking for an SQL Developer with strong experience in database development, automation, and reporting to support the design, optimization, and evolution of
- driven solutions.

This role combines strong SQL expertise,
- on development skills, and close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Location: Lisbon or Porto

Work model: Hybrid (2 days per week at the office)

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and maintain Microsoft SQL Server databases, ensuring high performance, data integrity, and security;
• Design and implement complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects to support business and technical requirements;
• Perform performance tuning, troubleshooting, and optimization of SQL Server environments;
• Develop scripts and routines using Visual Basic (VB) to automate processes and support data integration between systems;
• Create, maintain, and automate reports and dashboards in Excel, including the use of macros and VBA;
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams in agile environments (Scrum/Kanban), contributing to continuous improvement initiatives;
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable, efficient, and maintainable data solutions;
• Support documentation of data solutions and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team;
• Identify technical risks related to data solutions and propose effective alternatives or improvements.

Required Profile

• At least 5 years of professional experience in SQL development or similar roles;
• Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including complex queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning;
• Solid knowledge of Visual Basic (VB) applied to automation and data integration;
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including dashboards, reporting, and automation with macros/VBA;
• Ability to design robust, scalable, and efficient SQL-based solutions;
• Experience working in collaborative, multidisciplinary teams;
• Familiarity with agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban;
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and
  - solving abilities;
• Good communication skills and a proactive,
  - oriented mindset;
