Sr Associate Software Engineer CRM (x3) Lisboa

Overview

Senior Associate Software Engineer at AMGEN Capability Center Portugal. This role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining software applications to meet business needs, ensuring availability and performance of critical systems, and automating operations. You will work with product managers, designers, and engineers to create
- quality, scalable software solutions, monitor system health, and respond to incidents to minimize downtime. You will be part of a team focusing on Global CRM and Marketing capabilities, with Salesforce.com as core architecture and business enablers such as Veeva CRM, Veeva Vault, and Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement applications and modules
• Take ownership of development/configuration of user stories
• Translate concepts into working code with rapid prototyping
• Contribute to
  - end and
  - end development using Veeva CRM/Salesforce
• Create and maintain documentation on software design and configuration
• Identify and resolve technical challenges effectively
• Analyze functional and technical requirements and translate them into software design
• Develop and implement unit tests, integration tests, and other testing strategies
• Identify and resolve software bugs and issues
• Integrate with other systems and platforms to ensure seamless data flow
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for applications
• Utilize CI/CD and Dev
  Ops practices and maintain CI/CD pipelines
• Maintain high standards of code quality, perform code reviews, and ensure test coverage

Qualifications

Minimum requirements:

• Master’s degree with 3 - 4 years of experience in Computer Science, IT or related
• Proficient in programming languages Visual Force, Apex, SQL, Java
• Strong expertise in software design principles and system integration
• Experience with Dev
  Ops tools (Jira, Git, Jenkins, Copado)
• 5+ years proven experience as a Software Engineer leading design and development
• Proficiency in Veeva CRM development
• Proficiency in Salesforce development
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies
• Proficiency with Git and release management tools like Copado

Preferred requirements:

• Experience with test automation
• Work closely with product and business teams and other stakeholders
• Certifications related to Veeva CRM, Salesforce, Copado; Safe considerations are advantageous
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work effectively with global, virtual teams
