The Position

We are hiring a Senior Embedded Software Engineer for our R&D team based in India or Porto, Portugal, with potential to grow into a team lead role. This team is part of our global R&D division.

Your responsibilities include developing
- time,
- throughput data software applications supporting our products like HBM Genesis High Speed, Lan
Xi, and Fusion, used across automotive, aerospace, energy, and material testing sectors.

Key tasks involve designing software, coding, testing, and collaborating with hardware and testing teams to ensure system integration.

Responsibilities

• Develop embedded software on x86 (Linux/Windows), ARM, and DSP (RTOS or
  - metal), interfacing with FPGA logic.
• Create and extend unit tests for new and existing functionalities.
• Develop, evaluate, and maintain products, concepts, and technologies.
• Contribute to the technology roadmap of the function domain.
• Document technical details, tests, reports, specifications, manuals, and work instructions.
• Stay updated on the latest developments in the domain.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of relevant experience, including at least 4 years in embedded software development.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Communication, Instrumentation, Computer Science, or IT.
• Experience with
  - oriented programming languages like C++ and C# is a plus.
• Proficiency in embedded software development on Linux, RTOS; Windows experience is advantageous.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies, Scrum, Jira, and Confluence is beneficial.
• Experience leading teams and projects.

Personal Skills

• Attention to detail, thoroughness, and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently or with instructions.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of Dutch, German, Danish, or Portuguese is a plus.
