Job Description:

MPS is looking for a Principal Analog Design Engineer to join the Automotive BMS Product Line. As a part of the team, you will be focused on analog design with the ability to collaborate on the product’s definition, testability, and end applications robustness. This is a great opportunity where your success is only limited by your creativity.

Responsibilities

• Design low power precision analog and mixed signal circuits including but not limited to: LDO’s, Charge Pumps, Bandgaps, Amplifiers, and/or DAC’s, ADC’s.
• Influence architectural decisions to ensure system/sub-system technical performance requirements are achieved.
• Develop macro models and participate in
  - level simulation.
• Actively participate in the entire product development cycle.
• Determine
  -
  - test strategies to evaluate system/sub-system/block performance.
• Provide guidance to layout engineers on critical analog implementation aspects, monitor progress of layouts, and close the loop with
  - layout extraction and simulation.
• Work with a team of engineers to evaluate intended product behavior pre
  - out and post
  - out.
• Participate in hiring and mentoring of junior engineers.

Preferred Qualification

• Requires Master’s Degree or Equivalent in Electrical Engineering.
• 10+ years’ experience within analog design.
• Highly motivated individual.
• Strong analytical and
  - solving skills.
• Strong knowledge of transistor level design.
• Experience within BCD process.
• Experience with mixed signal design.
