Sr QA Engineer - Oracle EBS Lisboa

Responsibilities

• Functional Testing of Core Oracle EBS Modules:
  • End-to-end functional testing for core modules.
  • Purchase Order Creation – Validate procurement workflows, vendor approvals, and purchase order lifecycle.
  • Sales Order Creation – Execute test cases to ensure accurate order processing, fulfillment, and invoicing.
  • Accounts Payables (AP) – Verify vendor invoice processing, payment execution, and reconciliation accuracy.
  • Accounts Receivables (AR) – Validate customer invoicing, collections, credit management, and dispute resolution.
  • General Ledger (GL) – Conduct financial data validation, reconciliation tests, and compliance verification.
  • Opening & Closing Periods – Test
    - end financial closing procedures, ensuring seamless reporting.
• Supply Chain & Dropshipping Testing – Assess dropshipping workflows, verify proper integration of
  - party fulfillment within Oracle EBS, and confirm order management and inventory accuracy.
• Integration & Automation Testing – Perform system integration testing with external applications (e. g. , Jaggaer, Vertex, Lynx, Baxter); validate data integrity and tax calculations; identify and document bugs; work with development teams on resolutions.
• Compliance, Reporting & Documentation – Ensure governance, regulatory compliance, and audit readiness; develop test plans, test cases, and defect tracking reports; conduct performance and regression testing
  - upgrades or patches; collaborate with business users to align requirements and improve reporting accuracy.

Qualifications & Skills

• Extensive experience in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) functional testing across financial, procurement, and order management modules.
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, automation frameworks, and ERP validation best practices.
• Hands-on experience in system integration testing with Jaggaer, Vertex, Lynx, and Baxter.
• Ability to design and execute test scripts, test plans, and automated test cases.
• Proficiency in SQL queries for data validation, troubleshooting, and reporting accuracy.
• Expertise in defect tracking systems and collaboration with developers and analysts.

Educational Background & Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field.
• Preferred certifications: Oracle EBS Certification; ERP Testing-related Certification.

Additional Preferred Experience

• Exposure to cloud ERP implementations, including hybrid EBS-cloud integrations.
• Familiarity with automation testing tools such as Selenium, Test
  NG, or Load
  Runner for Oracle EBS validations.
• Experience in
  - site ERP implementations within
  - scale enterprise environments.
• Strong ability to analyze business workflows, improve testing strategies, and collaborate on process enhancements.
• Must-have: Oracle EBS; Jaggaer (procurement), Vertex (tax compliance), Lynx, and Baxter.
