Sr Specialist Tax - Digital Compliance Solutions

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

The Senior Specialist Digital Tax Reporting Solutions will be responsible for supporting the correct and complete implementation and management of the adidas
- reporting,
- invoicing, and other report mandates.

Key Responsibilities:

• Guarantee data maintenance, readiness, and accuracy proactively.
• Analyze tax data collected through
  - invoicing and
  - reporting systems, provide insights to corporate tax and local markets, and ensure accuracy and reconciliation with source systems.
• Investigate, raise issues when needed, and resolve discrepancies found during reconciliation.
• Maintain open communication with involved teams to support quick issue resolution.
• Manage tasks following established procedures.
• Suggest process improvements and new workflows to enhance efficiency and support their implementation.
• Keep files and documentation up to date and accurate.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Solid knowledge of SAP FI from a user perspective is mandatory.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in digitalization projects related to tax reporting, such as
  - reporting and
  - invoicing mandates.
• Consolidated knowledge of accounting, tax, and SAP.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Power
  Point), with advanced Excel skills.
• Experience in a shared service center environment is a plus.
• Strong customer focus and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English in a business setting.
• Ability to work in a
  - paced,
  - team environment to achieve consensus, always keeping adidas’ growth in mind.

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business Administration, Tax, Accounting, IT, or related fields.
• At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in SAP FI projects for finance, tax, and IT functions.
