Sr. Specialist Taxes
Overview
In the
- paced world of consumer goods, where supply chains are complex and transactions span multiple jurisdictions, indirect tax compliance must be both agile and precise.
As a Senior Tax Specialist, you will be instrumental in transforming our global indirect tax operations through technology. You will support the implementation of digital solutions that ensure compliance, reduce risk, and support seamless customer and retail experiences.
Responsibilities
- Key member of the global Center of Expertise for Indirect Tax, working closely with regional tax, finance, and IT teams.
- Support the implementation and optimization of indirect tax automation tools.
- Ensure smooth integration between ERP systems (e. g. , SAP S/4HANA), POS systems, and tax compliance tools to support
- volume and
- channel transactions. - Leverage AI and machine learning to enhance compliance monitoring, detect anomalies, and reduce manual intervention in tax processes.
- Analyze and optimize
- relevant processes across procurement, sales, and logistics, with a focus on automation and scalability. - Support
- specific initiatives that improve tax data quality and digital readiness. - Collaborate with
- functional teams, including supply chain, IT, and commercial operations to ensure tax requirements are embedded in business processes.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong technical knowledge of indirect tax regulations, particularly in the context of retail,
- commerce, and global supply chains. - Deep understanding of consumer goods business models, including B2B and B2C transactions, returns, promotions, and
- border transactions. - Experience with SAP and tax technology platforms.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate complex tax requirements into practical system solutions.
- Problem solving and analytical skills and critical thinking mindset.
- Strong customer focus and stakeholder management skills to interact with business partners.
- Ability to read, write and communicate in English in a business setting.

- team environment.
Minimum Qualifications
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in economics, finance, tax, legal, IT or other related areas
- At least 3-5 years of progressive work experience in indirect tax
- Proficiency in English
- Self-starter with a proactive mindset and strong commitment to continuous improvement.
