We-'re looking for an experienced Staff Engineer to join our development team in Lisbon, Portugal!

Responsibilities

• Write and review code, provide constructive feedback in code reviews, deliver exemplary solutions, contribute to the development of critical products/features, resolve technical debt, and maintain ownership of parts of the codebase.
• Contribute to
  - term technical strategy and product/platform goals, and lead their implementation to achieve defined OKRs.
• Mentor and inspire multiple teams of software engineers, including newcomers, by offering technical guidance and support.
• Create and document technical solutions and system designs, lead effective solution defense ceremonies, review solution designs from other teams when needed, and take ownership of solutions developed by their teams.
• Support and improve logging, metrics, and performance within their domain.
• Enhance and lead automated testing efforts to ensure effective code coverage and
  - quality releases.
• Collaborate closely with other technical leads and management to align technical decisions and the roadmap.
• Identify, organize, and promote internal training sessions and meetups, and consistently share knowledge on emerging technologies.
• Actively participate in and drive engineering initiatives beyond their immediate domain that enhance overall engineering excellence.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or higher degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
• 12+ years of software development experience, with at least 3+ years in technical leadership roles.
• Hands-on experience with Node. js.
• Proven ability to design and implement scalable,
  - performance
  - based systems.
• Solid experience with Kubernetes (K8s), containers, infrastructure design, SQL and No
  SQL databases, and agile methodologies (ideally Scrum). Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and coding patterns.
• Experience with
  - load systems, Web
  Sockets, message brokers,
  - party integrations, secure development, and design mockups.
• Proven expertise in CI/CD pipelines, microservices architecture,
  - native development, and information security best practices.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Advanced English level.
• Experience in the i
  Gaming industry is a plus.
