Responsibilities
- As a Staff Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for deploying, scaling, and maintenance of Workato Observability Platform. You will closely work with Data Engineers, CI/CD Engineers, and Workato Developers as a part of a small, flexible team and will have a direct impact on the process of modernization and maturation of the platform including infrastructure architecture decisions.
- We are currently seeking a seasoned Infrastructure Engineer specializing in Observability to join our dynamic team within the Infrastructure department. As the primary contributor, your key focus will involve constructing a robust global distributed observability platform capable of supporting all Workato components seamlessly. You will solve many
- standard tasks related to scaling, reliability and disaster recovery of the services.
Requirements
Qualifications / Experience / Technical Skills
- 10+ years of industry experience
- Experience in
- hosted systems related to Logs, Metrics, Exceptions, Traces, Open
Telemetry - Knowledge of Grafana stack and Prometheus
- Experience with Victoria Metrics is a plus
- Experience in building distributed and scalable systems
- Linux (skills in troubleshooting and identifying performance bottlenecks)
- Understanding network architecture, troubleshooting and incident resolution skills in Production environment, writing Post-mortems
- Experience with containers and Kubernetes (installation and configuration of operators)
- Basic knowledge of one or more
- level programming languages, such as Python, GOlang, Java - Configuration Management Skills, Infrastructure as Code Support
- Contributions to open source projects is a plus
Soft Skills / Personal Characteristics
- Good communication and collaboration skills in international technological companies
- Readiness to work remotely with teams distributed across the world and timezones
- Good Spoken English to participate in
- related, architectural and technical discussions - Proper balance between being
- on and deeper analytical approaches
