Staff Software Engineer – World-Leading Tech Company | Hybrid (Porto)

Location: Central Porto (Hybrid – 2 days per week in office)

Salary: €80, 000 – €90, 000 + bonus, shares, and excellent benefits

We're looking for an experienced Staff Software Engineer to join a
- leading US-headquartered technology company developing
- generation enterprise software. You'll be part of a global engineering team working on breaking down a monolith and building a next generation,
- edge, modern microservices platform.

What You'll Do

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of microservices
• Building next generation enterprise campaigns
• Architect scalable and reliable solutions to meet company requirements
• Identify technical debt and propose/implement solutions

What We're Looking For

• 10+ years' experience with a strong understanding of backend using Java and Spring framework
• Staff level experience in Java
• REST standards and API development
• Kubernetes, CI/CD
• Database design
• Public cloud – GCP would be preferred
• Ability to mentor and guide junior engineers
