Role Overview

We are looking for a Steel Structure Inspector to integrate our teams in Sines, Portugal. This role will support the quality assurance and quality control (QAQC) activities for a major industrial project, ensuring compliance with construction standards and contractual requirements throughout the execution phase.

What you will do:

• Perform QAQC inspections and activities across construction, erection, and installation phases;
• Verify conformity with contractual requirements, execution plans, delivery dates, and manufacturing quality;
• Manage and update QAQC documentation using IT tools such as Easy
  Plant and GAIA;
• Monitor KPIs and analyse data provided by construction contractors;
• Issue QAQC deliverables including Pre-Inspection Meeting reports, QCPs, CSHs, and others;
• Identify and report deviations or issues affecting quality or delivery, and coordinate recovery actions;
• Contribute to technical evaluations of
  - related offers;
• Support performance evaluations of contractors and inspection agencies;
• Provide clear, precise, and accurate reports on compliance with construction codes and project specifications.

What you are like:

• Holds a Technical Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering;
• Proficient in QAQC processes within steel structure construction projects;
• Skilled in reporting and documentation using digital tools;
• Experienced in interpreting and applying construction codes and standards;
• Knowledgeable in EN 1090 and ENDS standards;
• Certified as a Level II Visual Welding Inspector;
• Fluent in Spanish and English, with Portuguese also required.
