Strategic Architect Specialist (SAP | Energy Sector)

Job Description:

We are looking for a Strategic Architect Specialist to join a project in the energy sector , supporting the SAP Competency Center in governance and architectural transformation. This
- level position involves defining a Reference Architecture and guiding the adoption of modern SAP practices, including Cleancore extensibility and robust security structures. You'll collaborate with global teams and lead workshops with business stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

Define and document Reference Architecture for SAP domains.

Develop “Golden Rules” and best practices to support
- term system evolution.

Perform gap analysis between current and target architecture.

Propose a strategic roadmap and estimate financial impact of transformation.

Lead workshops and align
- functional teams on enterprise architecture goals.

Guide governance of SAP extensibility and security (Access, Users, SOD, Data).

Produce
- level executive presentations to support
- making.

Collaborate with global teams and internal SAP Competency Center experts.

✅ Mandatory requirements:

15+ years of experience in strategic architecture roles.

Proven leadership in more than 10
- level architecture projects.

Deep knowledge of SAP extensibility/Cleancore and security domains.

Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or related fields.

Expertise in enterprise architecture techniques and capability models.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to lead business workshops and build business cases.

Experience in the energy & utilities sector.

Familiarity with GDPR compliance.

Fluency in English (written and spoken).

Availability to work
- site in Lisbon 2–3 times per week (hybrid).
