About the Role

We are seeking an experienced, innovative, and motivated Structural Engineer to join our Lisbon office. This role is critical to ensure the structural design and successful delivery of industrial and
- critical facilities, particularly
- scale Data Centers.

Key Responsibilities

• Verify that designs are compliant with specifications and contract requirements.
• Ensure compliance of designs with local laws and regulations.
• Develop calculations, specifications, construction drawings, and the structural model.
• Collaborate with other design and engineering professionals on project concepts.
• Manage a portfolio of data center structural designs.
• Lead initiatives focused on improving cost, quality, schedule, and design consistency.
• Fully understand the structural scope, identify how it interacts with other disciplines, and manage scope changes effectively.

Required Skills and Experience

• Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Experience in industrial facilities and/or
  - critical infrastructure design.
• Minimum experience per level:
• Intermediate Level: At least 5 years of professional experience, with 2+ years in Data Center or other
  - critical infrastructure design.
• Senior Level: At least 8 years of
  - graduate experience, including 2+ years leading Data Center or
  - critical infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience in Structural Engineering.
• Strong collaboration skills with MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) teams.
• Working knowledge of
  - scale mechanical and electrical systems.
• Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and
  - quality standards.
• Ability to effectively communicate design standards to internal and external partners.
• Fluency in English (mandatory); additional languages are an advantage.
• Strong
  - working skills, with a positive and proactive attitude.
• Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
