Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer (m/f/d)

Your Tasks

• Ensure supplier quality, managing interfaces with suppliers including the handling of PPS's.
• Follow up actions with suppliers and, if necessary, apply the appropriate corrective and/or preventive actions.
• Prepare audits, ensuring adequate planning and performance of system, process, and product audits of suppliers in accordance with the requirements of ZF LIFETEC, IATF 16949, as well as customer and legal standards.
• Support new factory launches by participating in launch meetings prior to serial entry.
• Continuously improve processes to ensure adequate customer service.
• Monitor supplier performance, including the preparation of appropriate reports, and follow up on applicable indicators.
• Ensure quality tracking of Vila Nova Plant suppliers within the assigned commodities.

Your Profile

• Bachelor's degree in electronic engineering or similar in the industrial branch (preferred).
• Experience in similar functions in the automotive industry (valued).
• Knowledge of computer programs for quality control (preferred SAP QM module).
• Strong communication, teamwork, and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of quality tools (8D, 5Why, etc. ).
• Training in VDA 6. 3 auditing (valued).
• Knowledge of standards (IATF 16949, ISO 9001, etc. ).
• Availability to travel.
• Proficiency in English and Portuguese.
