Overview

As a Supplier Quality Engineer you will support the Grid Technologies Execution Unit “Service” in our Regions, ensuring supplier qualifications, audits, project‑specific approvals and supply‑base development align with our quality program.

Responsibilities

• Support the Service procurement organizations and its regional set‑up in all SQM related aspects.
• Set up the SQM relevant processes and all relevant SQM elements.
• Coordinate and lead Supplier Quality topics through collaborative activities in cross‑functional teams to support procurement and project strategy.
• Perform supplier qualifications, including supplier audits in accordance with IMS standards and/or VDA6. 3.
• Drive Non‑Conformance Management, root cause analysis, and corrective and preventive measures, and support risk analysis according to product safety regulations.
• Initiate and implement supplier quality improvement measures.
• Increase transparency on Supplier Non‑Conformance Costs (Sc
  NCC) and drive reduction programs and related claim activities.
• Implement and negotiate Global Quality Agreements (GQA).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferably in electrical engineering or a comparable field.
• Strong professional experience as a quality engineer or an engineer with practical experience in project businesses.
• Profound knowledge in Quality controls & Auditing (Lead auditor or at least 1st and 2nd party auditor for ISO 9001 and preferably also for ISO 14001 & 45001).
• Familiarity with root cause analysis and other quality & risk management methodologies; qualification as QMi
  P (Quality Manager in Projects) is welcome.
• Intercultural experience, motivation to work with multicultural teams, and willingness to travel globally.
• Excellent communication skills in English; German language skills are beneficial.
