About the Role
As our Supply Chain Manager, you’ll manage and analyze our supply chain operations, work directly with suppliers and manufacturers, ensure timely product delivery, and contribute to overall efficiency and success.
Note: This role requires you to be in our Lisbon office approximately 4 days per week.
Responsibilities
- Supplier Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, especially in Mandarin-speaking regions, ensuring clear communication.
- Supply Chain Optimization: Analyze processes, identify improvements, and implement strategies to streamline operations and reduce costs.
- Order Coordination: Oversee the entire order lifecycle, from placement to delivery, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, forecast demand, and prevent stockouts or overstock situations.
- Data Analysis: Use data to inform decisions, track KPIs, and generate performance reports.
- Negotiation: Negotiate effectively to secure favorable terms with suppliers.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with founders, logistics, finance, and customer success teams to ensure seamless operations.
Requirements
- Native-level Mandarin: Excellent written and spoken skills for supplier communication.
- Fluent English: Strong internal communication skills.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data and solve problems effectively.
- Organization: Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proactivity & Independence: Self-starter capable of working autonomously.
- Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation abilities are a plus.
- Experience: Relevant professional experience, preferably in supply chain management.
- Growth Mindset: Ambitious, eager to learn, and adaptable to a
- paced environment.
