Overview

Surveillance Officer - Data Analytics Trainee at BNP Paribas CIB. The program begins with a week of professional training to enhance technical and professional skills. You will then be assigned to regular tasks to gain practical knowledge about the business, work on real projects, and participate in
- shadowing sessions across Global Markets. You will also attend workshops, interactive case studies, networking and social events, and work on individual and team projects to meet with senior managers and colleagues across CIB.

Your Main Activities

• Support the FOCS and BS&C teams in NY with
  - hoc requests (KPIs, reporting, regulatory, etc. ).
• Assist in the development of automated tools for monitoring Global Markets staff and performing customized data analytics.
• Contribute to the design, implementation and visualizations of the monitoring procedures to more effectively identify actual or potential conduct risk scenarios.
• Build an
  -
  - end report by improving data collection and manipulation as well as developing/improving visualizations to be presented in committees and presentations.

Profile And Skills To Success

• Academic background in Engineering, Mathematics, Finance, Economics, IT or similar areas (preferential).
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem solving skills.
• Teamwork mindset; organizational and time management skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a sense of professionalism.
• Motivated and driven to learn about Global Markets.
• Proficient with MS Office tools (preferential but not mandatory).
• Knowledge of Business Intelligence tools (e. g. , Tableau, Power
  BI) (preferential but not mandatory).
• Basic programming skills (e. g. , Python, VBA) (preferential but not mandatory).
• Fluency in English (mandatory).
