We are looking for an experienced professional with financial markets knowledge, who has worked with financial products and has knowledge in trading activity.

This role is part of the Surveillance team, within the Natixis Corporate Investment Bank (CIB) Compliance team. This professional will be responsible for managing a team of 12 analysts for Trade Surveillance.

Job Description

Main tasks and goals:

• Manage all aspects of Trade Surveillance
• Work with Technology and Third-Party Vendors to
  - tune scenarios from which Trade alerts are derived, troubleshoot issues, and achieve goals
• Establish and maintain written procedures and governance processes around Trade Surveillance
• Drive enhancement and improvement of the programs in terms of effectiveness and efficiency
• Collaborate with line of business supervisors, first line of defense employees, and compliance managers
• Conduct deep dive investigations of potential issues when necessary
• Stay updated with regulatory changes, internal policy updates, and disciplinary actions to ensure monitoring systems incorporate current search techniques, rules, lexicons, and attributes
• Plan enhancements internally and with Third-Party Vendors to incorporate statistical methods, machine learning, and artificial intelligence into monitoring tools
• Prepare metrics to report monitoring results to senior management, including identifying trends or themes for further action

Qualifications

• Degree in Economics, Finance, Management, or a relevant area
• Over 3 years of management experience
• Advanced knowledge in Surveillance, Compliance, and Financial Markets
• CFA certification is a plus
• Fluent in English (mandatory)
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office; experience with Bloomberg and Refinitiv is a plus
• Team player with collaborative skills
• Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships across departments
• Sound judgment and appropriate escalation of issues
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
