Sustainable Mobility, Project Manager

he Job?
We're looking for a Project Manager to help us plan and run innovation projects that make cities more sustainable, healthier, and easier for people to get around. You'll be leading BGI's efforts in urban mobility innovation, working with both private and public clients, especially for EIT Urban Mobility. You'll also be teaming up with our finance, marketing, and events folks to get stuff done and even help with new proposals. Basically, you'll be managing projects from design, to delivery and closure, making sure they hit deadlines and budgets, and helping
Your

- day might include:
- Being a
reference
for Urban Mobility activities at BGI, pushing for innovation to make cities more sustainable.
- Coordinating BGI's role as the EIT Urban Mobility rep, connecting education, innovation, and business.
- Helping out with marketing and comms for your projects, finding speakers and partners.
- Oversee internal and external reports.
- Gathering and analyzing data on startups and innovation.
- Representing BGI at meetings and events, expanding our network.
- Finding new funding opportunities and coming up with new projects.
What you'll need (the
- haves):
- A degree in STEM, management, urban planning, or similar. (If you're from a
- exact science background, show us your experience in collaborative innovation, specialized consulting, and knowledge transfer) - At least 3-5 years of project management experience.
- At least 2 years of professional experience in smart cities, mobility, or sustainability.
- Be awesome at working in teams and handling tricky projects.
- Know your way around Microsoft Office and Google tools, especially Excel.
- Fluent in both English and Portuguese.
- Live in Portugal and be ready to travel
Bonus points if you have:
- Experience writing funding proposals.
- Managed EU-funded projects.
- Experience with data collection and analysis.
- Technical
- how in Urban Mobility, Sustainability, Tech, or Smart Cities.

Conditions
- Competitive compensasion package depending on experience, including healthcare plan, 22 days/y holiday leave and other fringe benefits.
- Hybrid work: 2 days remote, main office in Lisbon.
- One-year fixed term contract (possible renewal based on performance and approval of new projects).
