Ops Engineer

Location: Maia, Porto (On‑site)

Experience Level: Mid to Senior (37 years)

About the Role

You’ll be responsible for managing our full infrastructure stack from Kubernetes clusters and Postgre
SQL data lakes to Python‑based microservices, ML pipelines, and LLM agent orchestration. This is a hands‑on role where your decisions directly impact performance, scalability, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure Management

• Design, deploy, and maintain production‑grade Kubernetes clusters
• Manage container orchestration and service mesh configurations
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for microservices
• Oversee Docker image lifecycle, optimization, and security

Database Administration

• Administer and optimize Postgre
  SQL databases
• Implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures
• Monitor performance and apply optimization strategies
• Ensure database security, access control, and compliance

Platform Operations

• Deploy and maintain Python microservices across environments
• Manage ML pipeline infrastructure and model deployment workflows
• Oversee LLM agent infrastructure and GPU resource allocation
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for AI/ML workloads
• Apply Infrastructure as Code using modern Dev
  Ops practices
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance

System Administration

• Maintain Linux‑based server infrastructure
• Apply security best practices and compliance standards
• Manage network configurations, load balancers, and service discovery
• Automate routine tasks and system maintenance

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelors in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Experience with microservices and distributed systems

• Understanding of GDPR, SOX, and other compliance frameworks
• Experience with Python environments (pip, conda)
• Knowledge of LLM deployment and inference optimization
• Certifications: CKA, CKAD, AWS Architect, etc.
