Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly capable System Administrator to join our onsite IT team in Setúbal .

You will be responsible for maintaining a distributed fleet of laptops and desktops, managing local network infrastructure, and ensuring system reliability, automation, and security. The ideal candidate will have
- on experience with scripting, virtualization, monitoring, automation tools, and networking equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide onsite support for laptops and desktop computers (Windows), including hardware setup, system configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

Automate system administration tasks using Bash , Python , Ansible , and Rundeck .

Monitor infrastructure health and respond to issues using Zabbix .

Configure and manage local network infrastructure , including firewalls , VPNs (Open
VPN) , VLANs , and proxy servers .

Administer and troubleshoot Mikro
Tik routers , including advanced routing and security rules.

Deploy and manage virtual machines using Virtual
Box and VMware .

Maintain and run Docker containers for internal services or development environments.

Ensure all systems are updated, backed up

Maintain thorough documentation of configurations, procedures, and systems.

Collaborate with IT team members on infrastructure improvements and projects.

Required Qualifications:

Experience as a System Administrator in an onsite IT environment.

Strong proficiency in Linux/Windows systems , Bash , and Python scripting.

Experience with Ansible for automation and configuration management.

Hands-on experience with Zabbix for system monitoring.

Familiarity with Rundeck for automated operational workflows.

Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, VLANs).

Experience with Mikro
Tik routers , firewall , and proxy configurations.

Working knowledge of Docker , Virtual
Box , and VMware .

Strong
