We are looking for an AWS System Administrator to join a strategic project in Porto , working in a hybrid model (3 days/week
- site) :

✅ Manage and maintain AWS infrastructure (EC2, S3, VPCs, IAM roles, Route 53) with focus on operations, access, and uptime.

✅ Support deployment and operations of AWS-hosted systems ensuring reliability and consistent performance.

✅ Apply automation best practices to maintain stable and repeatable environments.

✅ Collaborate with development and security teams to ensure compliance requirements are met.

✅ Demonstrate networking knowledge (firewalls, routing, DNS, hybrid connectivity).

✅ Investigate issues, identify root causes, and implement preventative fixes.

✅ Work with Info
Sec on vulnerabilities and infrastructure hardening.

✅ Troubleshoot system performance issues, service outages, and functional errors.

✅ Support information security (access controls, patching, monitoring for vulnerabilities, security best practices).

Profile:

• 3+ years in system and/or network administration .
• Proficiency in Windows Server administration (patching, GPO, DNS, domain controllers).
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory (replication, OU structure, secure management).
• Solid understanding of core AWS services (EC2, IAM, S3, VPC, Route 53, Cloud
  Watch, WAF).
• Familiarity with infrastructure automation (Cloud
  Formation, Terraform).
• Networking expertise: switches, firewalls, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VPNs, LAN/WAN.
• Knowledge of system security, vulnerability management, and backup/recovery procedures .
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, communicate effectively, and work across sites/time zones.
• Fluent in English.

Nice to have:

• Scripting for automation (Power
  Shell, Bash, Python).
• Awareness of cloud-native security practices .
• Proficiency in additional AWS services (Security Groups, Load Balancing, VPN, SES, Cloud
  Watch Logs, Workspaces).
• Familiarity with Docker/ECS and containerization in AWS.
• Experience with VMWare ESX, SAN storage, replication, Veeam backup .
• Patch management and Dev
  Ops process automation.
