System Engineer - Cloud Migration (English Speaking) (M/F/D)

We’re looking for a System Engineer with experience in cloud migration, infrastructure, and hybrid environments. You’ll lead the planning and execution of migrations, optimize systems, and ensure smooth operations across Azure and VMware. Tasks

1. Assess and Strategize: Evaluate
   - premises environments using Azure Migrate and develop tailored migration strategies (rehosting,
   - platforming, refactoring).
2. Migration Execution: Plan and execute migrations from
   - premises infrastructure to cloud environments (Azure, VMware, hybrid).
3. Cloud Management: Deploy and manage Azure networking components such as NSGs, Firewalls, and VNETs, maintaining security and performance standards.
4. Operational Support: Manage and troubleshoot Azure VMs, networks, and cloud infrastructure.
5. Tools Utilization: Use tools like Azure Migrate and VMware HCX to support seamless migrations.
6. Collaboration: Work with internal IT teams to ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance.
7. Client Support: Provide technical guidance to clients, ensuring secure, scalable, and efficient cloud environments.
8. Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor cloud systems, troubleshoot issues, and implement best practices for performance and reliability.
9. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on Azure advancements, recommend process improvements, and leverage new tools.
10. Documentation: Maintain detailed system documentation and improve infrastructure processes.
11. Skills: Demonstrate strong technical, analytical, supervisory skills, and a collaborative mindset.

Requirements

1. Experience: 3+ years in system engineering or IT infrastructure roles.
2. Cloud Skills: Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud migration strategies.
3. Technical Knowledge: VMware, Hyper-V, Windows Server, Unix, Active Directory, Horizon/Citrix, networking.
4. Azure Networking: Knowledge of VNets, NSGs, Application Gateways, and Azure Virtual Desktop.
5. Migration Tools: Familiarity with Azure Migrate and VMware HCX.
6. Soft Skills: Troubleshooting, documentation, communication skills, proactive attitude, team player.
7. Languages: Fluency in English; German and/or Portuguese is a plus.

Nice to Have

1. Microsoft Azure certifications (e. g. , AZ-104, AZ-305).
2. Experience with hybrid cloud environments.
3. Knowledge of scripting languages such as Power
   Shell and Bash.
