Job Description
We are looking for a System Engineer to join our Heat Pump Systems development team.
In this role, you will be responsible for the definition, simulation, and validation of heat pump systems and components, supporting the full product development cycle — from concept to system release.
Key Responsibilities
- Break down system requirements into heat pump and component specifications.
- Use simulation tools to evaluate system functionality, perform dimensioning, and optimize performance.
- Develop and validate new technical concepts and system solutions for heat pumps.
- Apply a complete system approach by defining, dimensioning, and releasing new solutions and accessories.
- Work closely with system and lab testing teams to verify simulated results and ensure customer requirements are met.
- Provide all necessary technical documentation for system release, including hydraulic and control logic integration.
- Define and maintain technical guidelines and planning documents in accordance with relevant standards.
Qualifications
Education
- Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Physics Engineering, or a related technical field.
Experience
- Proven experience in systems development and integration, ideally within the heat pump or HVAC industry.
- Background in R&D or product development environments.
Know-How
- Solid knowledge of thermodynamics, hydraulics, and refrigeration systems.
- Experience in Systems Engineering methods and understanding of complex system architectures.
- Proficiency in system simulation and modelling, preferably using Matlab/Simulink.
- Knowledge of specification, calculation, and design of system components.
- Confident user of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Power
Point, One
Note).
Languages
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Portuguese is a nice to have.
